Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the effect of continuous quality improvement nursing intervention on the quality control of blood samples
collected before complete blood count (CBC). Methods: 80 hospitalized patients admitted to our hospital from May 2022 to May 2023 were
selected as the research subjects, and they were randomly divided into a control group (40 cases, routine nursing) and an observation group
(40 cases, continuous quality improvement nursing) using a numerical table. The observation indicators of patients between the two groups
in blood collection were compared. Result: The unqualified rate, vascular damage rate, blood collection pain score, and blood collection time
of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). The sample quality score of the observation group
patients was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Continuous quality improvement nursing intervention
can significantly improve the quality control of blood samples collected before blood routine testing, reduce the unqualified rate of blood
samples, vascular damage rate, and patient pain, and improve the efficiency and safety of the blood collection process.
