Abstract

Objective: To explore the clinical efficacy of integrative Chinese and Western medicine treatment on gastrointestinal delayed reactions after chemotherapy in malignant tumors. Methods: One hundred malignant tumor patients admitted to Sichuan Cancer Hospital from
January 2022 to January 2023 were selected and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 50 patients in each
group. All patients received combined chemotherapy regimens, and the observation group received additional traditional Chinese medicine
treatment. The clinical overall response rates of the two groups were observed. Results: The total effective rate in the observation group was
86%, significantly higher than the 54% in the control group, and the intergroup difference had statistical significance (P < 0.05). Conclusion:
Integrative Chinese and Western medicine treatment can effectively improve the clinical treatment outcomes of gastrointestinal delayed reac_x005ftions after chemotherapy in malignant tumors and has certain application value.
