Abstract

To investigate the current situation of the family parenting environment of hospitalized children aged 0-1 years and its influencing
factors, and to analyze their influencing factors. A total of 223 parents of hospitalized children aged 0-1 years were selected as questionnaire
respondents in October-November 2023 in a tertiary hospital in Yunnan using the convenience sampling method. The family parenting envi_x005fronment of the children was assessed in four dimensions, including perception/cognition, emotional warmth, neglect/restriction, and interpersonal interaction/feeding, and the adverse detection rates were 21.5%, 29.1%, 27.8%, 25.6%, and 20.2%, respectively, with the highest adverse detection rate in the emotional warmth dimension. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the number of children, occupation,
and monthly family income of the parents were the risk factors affecting the children’s home parenting environment scores. The detection
rate of poor family parenting environment of hospitalized infants was higher than that of census infants, and effective interventions should be
developed to create a good family parenting environment and promote the healthy development of infants in response to multiple risk factors.
