Infection Control Strategies and Effect Evaluation in Hemodialysis Nursing
Abstract
proposed. By using literature review and clinical observation methods, the existing infection control strategies were analyzed, and the implementation effects of equipment and environment management, nursing staff hand hygiene, and patient education and self-management were
explored in multiple aspects. The research results indicate that regular disinfection of dialysis machines, maintenance of environmental hygiene, and strict adherence to hand hygiene standards by nursing staff significantly reduce the incidence of infections in hemodialysis rooms.
In addition, the improvement of patients’ education and self-management abilities also helps to enhance their awareness of infection prevention, thereby further reducing the occurrence of infection events. Through regular monitoring of infection incidence and patient satisfaction,
studies have shown that implementing these infection control measures has improved clinical indicators and satisfaction of patients.
