Juan Chang, Fangjie Duan*

Abstract

Hemodialysis is an important treatment for patients with chronic kidney disease, and nutritional support plays a key role in their
long-term care. In order to explore the impact of nutritional support on the quality of life of hemodialysis patients, this article adopts individualized nutritional assessment and intervention measures to analyze the nutritional needs and management strategies of patients during
dialysis. It has been found that appropriate nutritional support can significantly improve the physiological status of hemodialysis patients,
including increasing protein intake, optimizing weight, and reducing the incidence of complications. Meanwhile, nutritional support also has
a positive impact on patients’ mental health, promoting the improvement of their psychological state and quality of life. Therefore, nutritional
intervention is crucial in the long-term care of hemodialysis patients, and attention should be paid to their nutritional needs. Individualized
nutritional support programs should be developed to improve the overall health and quality of life of patients.
