Comparison of the effectiveness of two cranial external drainage systems in patients with increased intracranial pressure in patients with cranial external drainage
Abstract
or intracranial hemorrhage requiring external drainage were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. The total effective
rate, physical and chemical properties, complications and vital signs of the products were compared between the two groups. Results: Experimental group and control group each included 120 patients. In the experimental group, the extracranial drainage system could be used for
intracranial drainage in patients with increased intracranial pressure caused by cerebrospinal fluid, cerebral hemorrhage, hematoma, and cerebral cyst effusion. The effective rate of the instrument was 100% during clinical trial, and the incidence of complications during the trial was 0,
which had no difference compared with the control group. Conclusion: The extracranial drainage system is effective and safe for the patients
with increased intracranial pressure caused by cerebrospinal fluid, cerebral hemorrhage, hematoma and cerebral cyst.
